Tinted car windows


My kids are coming to San Felipe from Vegas - thier car has the limo tint on all windows - is this a problem crossing at Mexicali ????

Not unless they have machine guns behind the glass. I would be surprised if they even noticed, but if you have a problem just tell them to act stupid and say they need to see their father in San Felipe.

I have seen a lot more tinted windows in Baja than I have in the U.S.

FYI - Driver's side window and front passenger window tinting is illegal in California.

Yes, as the CA Hwy Patrol officer was writing me a fix it ticket for my tinted windows he made the remark "they made me remove the tint on my truck when I moved to California" :rolleyes:

I think he might have had personal issues :lol:

Has any of you with the illegal (CA) tinted driver and front passenger windows thought of just driving through TJ with your tinted windows rolled down??? :rolleyes::lol:

I believe TJ passed a recent law prohibiting tinted windows. Hadn't heard of it in Mexicali though.
