RE ads without pics are not very effective, doubt you'll tease out any interest with text only.

Red Bear is your nickname? Are you, or have you ever been a member of the communist party? My uncle Joe wants to know.

Very generally speaking, most American Indians tend towards Socialism in their historical cultures----------thus, you can take the name "Red Bear" any way you want to, or not at all. ;)

--------and, my son-in-law, both my kids, both my granddaughters, and my ex-wife are part Am. Indian, so some of we NOMADS are pretty "American" by birth.

In my case, I can only claim 3rd generation Californian. :wow:

Dear TTB (my red brother)------After thingking about that for an instant, I had better revise my statement-------:

My son and daughter are "3rd Generation" Californios, not me----both born in Coronado, CA. My grandmother was born in Indiana, but immigrated to CA in the late 1800's into the North SF bay area. My Mom was born in Vallejo, and I was born in San Diego-------so I am technically a 2nd generation Californio (I think??).

Your "suspicions" are confirmed.

Thanks for keeping me honest, Tony.

I would guess that "red bear" translates as stocky or overweight red head.

though communist californian would be more fun to have here on bajanomads

Cypress - 8-1-2009 at 01:35 PM

DENNIS, Yea, just saying hello will get you jumped and accused of all sorts of things.:D But those idiots come and go. :tumble: It's a great website!:DHang in there!;D

You people should be ashamed of yourselves. What a way to greet a new Nomad!
Edit! Happy?

----plus all we "humorists" hijacked the thread--------my apologies, RedBear.

------and yes, Punta Chivato is a fantastic area, with beautiful homes and views. I wish you all speed and luck selling your casa there.

(at least we are keeping the post current on the "todays" posts.)

Welcome to Nomads RedBear and good luck with the sale of your house. Hope you're selling it to buy a bigger and better one.

Some Nomads have bad manners, try not to judge the rest of us by their behavior......dt

Sharksbaja - 8-1-2009 at 02:10 PM

See if you can post some shots of yer house. Perhaps Russ could. Russ?

Damn good thang your name isn't RedBush!

DianaT - 8-1-2009 at 02:40 PM

For many reasons, we are considering selling our current home in Bahia Asuncion and have put it out there on other sites.

We have not put it on Nomads because it seems like every time someone does so, it is ridiculed, and picked apart.

RedBear, welcome and good luck.

I think Russ meant to say, What a way to treat (or great) a new Nomad. I agree!

We are all a little jumpy lately with the rude and racist Hydra-newby posts. Our tolerance level for that sort of thing is pretty low. The Commie-baiting slur looked like more of the same, to me. Maybe that poster was joking, but it didn't feel like it. Russ didn't like it either. I hold the Native American culture in high regard; thus my counter to the "Communist" crack.

BarryA and I have a good relationship and sometimes toss a ball back and forth.

Anyway, I wish Red Bear well and hope he has success in selling his place. I do hope he comes back.

You folks living elsewhere.......envy Russ. He is set up well and wouldn't say cagada if his plate was full.

RedBear - 8-1-2009 at 04:37 PM

Some of you peeps are so psuedo compassionate. You know darn well that my question had nothing to do with Indians.

Are you for real? Are you that much of a wingnut? I really thought you were joking.

What I said about Red Bear being an Indian name was sincere. No I am not a "Communist" and I have never known any. What pleasure do you get out of being a troll. You do not upset me because I can't even relate to your question, if it is serious. So, what's in it for you?

Mike,

I am not sure what your point is and why you chose to stir it up in this thread.

It looked to me like you were trolling and it also looked like that by another Nomad who said so.(I explained earlier, my sensitivity to the "troll" subject).

So I did a search on all your past posts and would like to say that you are not a troll. Your posts in this string seems out of character. You have made some good contributions in The BajaNomad. I and others are particularly impressed with the way you helped in the accident. So, I am reaching out and letting it go.

Redbear - please post pics when you can.....

picture of house for sale in Chivato

RedBear - 8-2-2009 at 05:39 PM

Because there have been a few sincere requests for pictures i've attempted to attach one to this post. I hope that the other folks will find another place to b-tch and moan about other stuff. This post was intended for selling a house and that's what i'd like to get back on track. Okay, i've said my peace...here's the picture:

Bajahowodd - 8-2-2009 at 05:53 PM

Right now, there's more than one wing nut on this thread. That being said, would it be possible to get some interior shots of the Punta Chivato house? And, Diane, perhaps you could U2U me as to what's happening with your Asuncion home. I've been seriously looking into buying in Baja for the past two years.

MikeLikeBaja - 8-2-2009 at 07:35 PM

My communist or Indian friend, that is a cool house.

MikeLikeBaja - 8-2-2009 at 07:38 PM

And I am being sincere

Russ - 8-3-2009 at 06:33 AM

RedBear is trying to learn the secrets of loading more than one photo. Some of you may remember doing that for the first time. Even with instructions it can be trying.
