RE ads without pics are not very effective, doubt you'll tease out any interest with text only.

Red Bear is your nickname? Are you, or have you ever been a member of the communist party? My uncle Joe wants to know.

Very generally speaking, most American Indians tend towards Socialism in their historical cultures----------thus, you can take the name "Red Bear" any way you want to, or not at all. ;)

--------and, my son-in-law, both my kids, both my granddaughters, and my ex-wife are part Am. Indian, so some of we NOMADS are pretty "American" by birth.

In my case, I can only claim 3rd generation Californian. :wow:

Dear TTB (my red brother)------After thingking about that for an instant, I had better revise my statement-------:

My son and daughter are "3rd Generation" Californios, not me----both born in Coronado, CA. My grandmother was born in Indiana, but immigrated to CA in the late 1800's into the North SF bay area. My Mom was born in Vallejo, and I was born in San Diego-------so I am technically a 2nd generation Californio (I think??).

Your "suspicions" are confirmed.

Thanks for keeping me honest, Tony.

I would guess that "red bear" translates as stocky or overweight red head.

though communist californian would be more fun to have here on bajanomads

----plus all we "humorists" hijacked the thread--------my apologies, RedBear.

------and yes, Punta Chivato is a fantastic area, with beautiful homes and views. I wish you all speed and luck selling your casa there.

(at least we are keeping the post current on the "todays" posts.)

Welcome to Nomads RedBear and good luck with the sale of your house. Hope you're selling it to buy a bigger and better one.

Some Nomads have bad manners, try not to judge the rest of us by their behavior......dt
