I crossed Northbound at Tecate yesterday 4:00pm. Maybe four cars ahead of me, but when I reached the customs officer their computers crashed. I had to
wait 30mins for them, to receive permission, to release vehicles without running the info through the system. I had my dog Patch with me and the
officer asked for a healthy dog certificate. This was the first time I have ever been asked for it, glad I had it with us. The road from Mex 1 to
Tecate was in great shape.

Yeah Man....that looks like one sickly dangerous dog. Arn't you glad those guys are on top of this burning issue? TMW - 5-13-2010 at 12:11 PM
Watch out it looks like Patch is getting ready to eat someones feet. He's already ripped the flip flops off. You're lucky the border agent didn't
shoot him.Cyanide41 - 5-13-2010 at 02:08 PM
Wow! That's the first I have ever heard of anyone asking for "puppy papers."Udo - 5-13-2010 at 02:12 PM

In all the years I traveled with my dogs I have only been asked once Northbound (Mexicali East) and lately at the same border but southbound. No
International Health Cert. but we had the Rabies/Current License's and away we went.
