How can an entry be the "People's Choice" and not get first place? Are the judges bought and paid for?

i did not see any cargo shorts, tie-dies or hawaiiaan shirts in those pics.
i preferred the fashionistas at the mulege cook off!
(the tecate girls were a nice touch!)

Felicidades, Rob. We really wish we could have been there. Next year for sure!Bajahowodd - 5-9-2011 at 05:39 PM
Since when is chili Mexican? They have chili cook-offs from Terlingua to Paducah. But, it's not Mexican.
How odd indeed
BajaRob - 5-9-2011 at 05:53 PM
Have you never heard of Chili Colorado con Carne? It is very Mexican and similar to our recipe. But hey, we never claimed that we were cooking Mexican
food, just chili. Got anything positive to contribute???DENNIS - 5-9-2011 at 05:57 PM
