House finches are very common down here.

Seldom seen indeed! The Lazuli Bunting is a great surprise to see up an arroyo at a watering hole in LB. Pictured here is a first year bird. These

We get tons of quail out here in our area. Some of the guys working on the house keep traps up out in back and often catch several in a single

A good friend made a trap and set it out in his alfalfa field in San Bruno and got 42 on the first day.
