so if my generator has 50db
what does it reduce it to?vgabndo - 2-29-2012 at 12:51 AM
This has long been a good type of system. So long as rebar and concrete mixture strength are right, it's a cool system, or a warm one. Really neat that they can be hauled within Baja. IF ECO can keep the price down.
Bravo!Bob and Susan - 2-29-2012 at 05:46 AM
i've noticed that they are flexing and the stucco is poppin off in places...
this just doesnt happen with stick houses in california
you know...earthquakes...wind...hurricanes
is there a fix for that???
the insulation is incredible though WOWIslandbuilder - 2-29-2012 at 11:30 AM
Bob, I've heard about that sort of problem happening with the styrofoam form systems, is that what you're thinking of? These composit blocks look
different than the "traditional" foam/concrete infill systems.
Eco, I assume you set these just like regular concrete block, with mortar and then fill the cells with concrete to lock in the re-bar?
Cost per block in pallet loads, and number of block per pallet?
Thank you! Neat looking product!Islandbuilder - 3-1-2012 at 01:40 PM

Is that 10% for the total construction cost, or the wall block portion?
Thanks.Islandbuilder - 3-1-2012 at 03:49 PM
Thank you. I will be in touch as a potential project get's a bit closer.Bob and Susan - 3-1-2012 at 04:18 PM
nope ...thats the stuff...stucco can come off and crack
it does insulate very well
and cuts with a butter knife
and LIGHT
if you need insulation...then it would be worth it but
if you dont 10 percent is 10 percent
you claimed sound reduction...so what is it?
i still would stick with what the local contractors know
