I had a very bad experience there. Late at night...guy wouldn't take anything less than $100. I left. And he would not take animals...the pet kind.DENNIS - 5-14-2013 at 06:04 PM

Ohhhh lordy....do we have to go through this again? Can we just blame it on Antonio and get it over with? rts551 - 5-14-2013 at 06:16 PM
Done.... Dennis.... seems like The long time Cactus lovers dumped him anyway.
They now love the SQ hotels even though they have never frequented them!

San Antonio de las Minas?
That's the only one out there I'm aware of, Bob. Must be one and the same.CndyLdy - 5-14-2013 at 07:15 PM

You may have better luck finding a pet friendly place in Ensenada. Most everything else out in the valley is B+B and I doubt many of those places are
pet friendly.
Then again, I'd never heard of La Cava either.
Good luck.
I have stayed there 3 or 4 times and no problem with the pooch. It is around $45, very basic rooms, clean, friendly but nothing to write home about.
Great pizza place next door but only open 3 or 4 nights a week.
English speaking staff and AROUND 5 miles from the wine country, between Ensenada and the town of "Guadalupe." There is a "fancy" coffee shop around
3-5 miles towards Ensenada, on the South side that sells a great red wine for 130 pesos with no label.DENNIS - 5-15-2013 at 05:30 AM
This must be the same place we've been talking abut calling it La Cava, which looks like the wine room or whatever's happening there.CndyLdy - 5-16-2013 at 02:22 PM
Thank, HOWARD...I'll take a look at it...
I still have a bit more than a week b-4 I head north...maybe I'll still pick up another lead or two...Howard - 5-16-2013 at 02:46 PM
