Writing a will in Sept.......who knew?

BajaBlanca - 8-30-2013 at 03:54 PM

September is called "mes del testamento" in Mexico because authorities and notaries join their efforts to facilitate the granting of wills for citizens; a 50% discount is given by notaries. If you have assets in Mexico, other than real estate property in Fideicomisos, September will be a good time to get your Mexican will. We did it a couple of years ago and got in on the discount. Not such a bargain because we didn't die yet. Maybe if we had paid retail......
