A very dear friend of ours was badly burned in her apartment Sunday morning in a fire. Kim recently completed almost a year of chemo & radiation
for Stage 4 breast cancer so she is a fighter ..
If you are the sort of person that says prayers, then please say them for Kim. If you are not, please just think and send good thoughts her way.
She and her husband were going to travel to visit her family, and his, for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. He is a longhaul trucker and is currently
making his way back home - mother nature not being very kind at this point.
Most everything was burned or unsalvageable. The apartment complex is holding a fundraiser for her/them on Thanksgiving.

Doctors are optimistic and that is very encouraging.
There has been a wonderful outpouring of love and kindness and generosity.
