Fire

Doug if this is not the proper location, I apologize .. and also extend thanks for .. you know, everything.

A very dear friend of ours was badly burned in her apartment Sunday morning in a fire. Kim recently completed almost a year of chemo & radiation for Stage 4 breast cancer so she is a fighter ..

If you are the sort of person that says prayers, then please say them for Kim. If you are not, please just think and send good thoughts her way.

She and her husband were going to travel to visit her family, and his, for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. He is a longhaul trucker and is currently making his way back home - mother nature not being very kind at this point.

Most everything was burned or unsalvageable. The apartment complex is holding a fundraiser for her/them on Thanksgiving.
If you would be interested in making a donation please contact Lori.

So sad, so sad! Will certainly be sending positive thoughts her way for quick healing and a safe trip for her husband.

Whenever I hear that rainy, chill wind blow. I think it may be time to head for Mexico. Tengo que obedecer mi corazon!

Good morning and thank you for your kindness - words escape expression.

Doctors are optimistic and that is very encouraging.

There has been a wonderful outpouring of love and kindness and generosity.

With every best wish for your continued prayers and good thoughts.
