First of all, thank you all for your input on using an ATT cell phone in Mexico. Our guests and traveling companions are very thankful.
We would like to rent a car in La Paz airport upon our arrival and keep it for a few days (3, 4, ?). I never have a handle on how much I am going to
pay because of additional insurance requirements I need or I am talked into. I don't want truble while I am there but I'm not concerned about damage
to the car. I just care about big-time damages (liability). I will use my AMEX card for the rental and, of course, I am fully insured through AAA in
California.
What's the best deal I can expect? What insurance do I need and should I get it online or at the counter. We are not likely to go back to La Paz for
another year after this so no long-term insurance.
