Any of you Nomads ever used mango wood for smoking?
Have access to lots of it from my neighbor's tree. According to some reports its smoke is toxic since the plant is related to Poison ivy/oak. But
likely it toxicity gets highly exaggerated. Since the fruit is sweet, the smoke should resemble that of cherry, plum and even apple wood.
Any comments?chippy - 5-10-2015 at 01:00 PM

I think it's great for meat, but not so hot for chicken or fish.
