Mango wood for smoking??

Any of you Nomads ever used mango wood for smoking?
Have access to lots of it from my neighbor's tree. According to some reports its smoke is toxic since the plant is related to Poison ivy/oak. But likely it toxicity gets highly exaggerated. Since the fruit is sweet, the smoke should resemble that of cherry, plum and even apple wood.
Any comments?

If you have allergies to mango like I do its not good. If you donīt it makes excellent wood for smoking. I use it to smoke fish for friends and my wife.

I think it's great for meat, but not so hot for chicken or fish.

Saucy, smoked and all round BBQ'd....

Many woods, mostly fruit wood, will add flavorings so trial and success are always needed....

Smoke on bro'.........
