I will be in San Ignacio in a few days and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for food. I've eaten at Rice and Beans, La Pinta/Desert
Inn, and a place in the square.
Any other ideas?
Any favorites?

Best chicken tacos in Baja are at the little restaurant on the hwy next to the military stop. Name is chuy's, I think (probably misspelled)
Good ice cream place on the square. On the left if you are facing mission.
Rene's can be ok, if you hit the right day. chippy - 7-22-2015 at 06:33 AM

You can always try Rice and Beans....Its been hit and miss for us, but a favorite of a lot of others. Or on the right side of the road as you are
headed to the town square, Fongs, has always been good for us. ElCap - 7-22-2015 at 08:01 AM
The last week of July is the town's big fiesta - there's always some great street food available then (along with thousands of people celebrating)TMW - 7-22-2015 at 09:54 AM

I don't remember the name but the daughter of the Yurts has a place just off the square that is very good. It might only be open durning the whale
season. We ate a couple of times very good.woody with a view - 7-22-2015 at 11:01 AM
