Favorite Place to Eat in San Ignacio?
I will be in San Ignacio in a few days and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for food. I've eaten at Rice and Beans, La Pinta/Desert
Inn, and a place in the square.
Any other ideas?
Any favorites?

Best chicken tacos in Baja are at the little restaurant on the hwy next to the military stop. Name is chuy's, I think (probably misspelled)
Good ice cream place on the square. On the left if you are facing mission.
Rene's can be ok, if you hit the right day.

You can always try Rice and Beans....Its been hit and miss for us, but a favorite of a lot of others. Or on the right side of the road as you are
headed to the town square, Fongs, has always been good for us.

The last week of July is the town's big fiesta - there's always some great street food available then (along with thousands of people celebrating)

I don't remember the name but the daughter of the Yurts has a place just off the square that is very good. It might only be open durning the whale
season. We ate a couple of times very good.
