Perhaps you are prematurely posting!
The NHC forecasters aren't forecasting anything yet!
Windyty is just computer model output without human interpretation, so is garbage prediction for anything beyond 24 or 48 hours. Windyty is most often wrong at multi-day forecasts,...

I trust a real weather forecaster,... And If only Crissy Russo had a brain!

dtbushpilot - 6-27-2016 at 11:56 AM

And why the heck does Chrissy Russo need a brain?

KaceyJ - 6-27-2016 at 12:36 PM

Dt , I don't think brains are a job requirement for forecasters these days.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
1100 AM PDT WED JUN 29 2016

For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A broad area of disturbed weather has developed in association
with a tropical wave several hundred miles south of the Gulf of
Tehuantepec. A low pressure system is expected to form later this
week, and environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for
a tropical depression to develop over the weekend while the system
moves generally westward or west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph,
remaining well offshore of the coast of Mexico.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent

Good advice Buddah! Some of that water that is stockpiled could be fortified with something like malted barley. Of course all the excess carbohydrates would be fermented out first, and some hops added as a preservative.

It also makes good trading material for labor or other things you forgot to stash!

Hook - 6-30-2016 at 08:19 AM

I believe the original prediction now has a 70% chance of forming into a TD in the next five days, according to NOAA. Or maybe it is a subsequent one.

Looking pretty active, that one goes way north---those can generate nice surf for days if they stall out off CA.

Yanet Garcia, considered the hottest weather forecaster in the world. She worked for Televisa in Monterrey. It has been said that when she farts, they hear it in Canada.

woody with a view - 7-2-2016 at 06:25 AM

looks like the active phase of the MJO is going to swing into effect over the next 10 days, if the model run is to be believed!

We officially have our first named storm of the season. This is the latest a named storm has formed since "reliable" records began in 1971.

Tropical Storm Agatha is not expected to reach hurricane status and is not expected to make land.

woody with a view - 7-3-2016 at 09:35 AM

the waves travel in the direction the storm is currently traveling. neither of these will provide much surf unless you're in Hawaii.
