In our travels south and then north again we are looking for RV park recommendations in Loreto, La Paz, and Cabo. We're in a 20 foot Roadtrek.JZ - 11-14-2016 at 03:23 PM
La Mission or Oasis in Loreto.
Costa Baja in La Paz. Howard - 11-14-2016 at 08:03 PM
I think they are looking for RV parks.
In Loreto there are really only 2, Loreto Shores and Rivera del Mar. I much prefer Rivera del Mar. Clean, walking distance to town, Wi-Fi, clean
bathrooms, laundry and nice people.
If you need contact information or directions, let me know.
Have you considered at least 2 nights in Bay of Concepcion Bay such as Santispac?

Rivera del Mar is absolutely NOT CLOSED!
They are open for business as normal and have always been opened for business, it's just their kitchen that is closed.cliffh - 11-15-2016 at 03:36 PM
When did Rivera del mar close??bobk - 11-18-2016 at 09:33 AM

Although not in the towns you asked about..but you must pass by on the way to and from...Playa Buena Ventura on Bahia Concepcion is certainly doable.
Park right at the water's edge.....lapping wavelets and all that.
Decent restaurant and a funky bar.
No RV services......dry camping.
Rustic toilets nearby and a shower.
Fee was 60 pesos per person per night.
This was the price for a group gig, so a solo RV may not receive that price.Alm - 11-18-2016 at 11:17 AM
If it's only a few days or less, at each of these points... Loreto Shores RV park is as average as they come. Nothing fancy, but close to town and on
the water.
I think there is only one RV park in La Paz left by now, somewhere towards the airport, away from the water.
I don't think there are any RV parks in San Jose del Cabo, but there used to be some in Cabo San Lucas. Not directly on the water.
Traveling by car/plane/bus and staying in a hotel in these places is more convenient, cheaper and more choice. Big cities have never been good RV-ing
destinations. Loreto is still OK.
RV in La Paz

Here is a previous posting about an RV Park near La Paz. km-11 just before La Paz coming from the north.
I was there a month ago and will be there about 3 months this winter!
