elskel - 4-23-2017 at 08:53 AM

Hey All I am heading North, up the Peninsula in about 8 days. I was thinking of trying to fish LA Bay a day. I am looking for some information / recommendations, guides and lodging.
Thanks, Brian

Enrique Daggett is a fish magnet. contact Campo Daggett. Tons of lodging as well.

Costa del Sol is the best hotel. Good restaurant. Right on the main drag with good parking.

Sometimes the owner doesn't want to run the AC early in the season. So if it's gonna be hot and you want that you better confirm. Otherwise I like it there. We've stayed 3 or 4 times.

Thanks for the replies. Someone around here had mentioned Guermos? Anymore input? Any current fishing reports?
Thanks Brian

guermos is good. waterfront, nice breeze, simple rooms. we were there about a week ago on a motorbike trip. 3 guys in one room=$90usd seemed a bit high for what it was......eh, so what? it works.

my favorite place to stay is at Las Hamacas. It's fairly close to the launch ramp and there's ac + plenty of space if you have a boat.

I would highly recommend Igor Galvan (Guillermo's son) for a fishing guide. Guillermo's has rooms and nice restaurant/bar on the beach!
