LA Bay - Recommendations - Fishing / Lodging

Hey All I am heading North, up the Peninsula in about 8 days. I was thinking of trying to fish LA Bay a day. I am looking for some information / recommendations, guides and lodging.
Thanks, Brian

Costa del Sol is the best hotel. Good restaurant. Right on the main drag with good parking.

Sometimes the owner doesn't want to run the AC early in the season. So if it's gonna be hot and you want that you better confirm. Otherwise I like it there. We've stayed 3 or 4 times.

my favorite place to stay is at Las Hamacas. It's fairly close to the launch ramp and there's ac + plenty of space if you have a boat.

Fishing Guide

I would highly recommend Igor Galvan (Guillermo's son) for a fishing guide. Guillermo's has rooms and nice restaurant/bar on the beach!
