3rd up from the last on DK's last post--------I have camped in that exact spot several times over the many years, gazing at the 100's of Blue Palms
across the wash and on the surrounding slopes.

Paradise!!!
The thousands of blue palms on the slope of the canyon are pretty amazing... El Berrendo off Valle Chico, north of Matomí.
Jim, a huge photo... Please tell us what is it showing, exactly?StuckSucks - 9-11-2019 at 05:20 PM
Just my opinion, but an automobile in the middle of a nice natural
Baja scene ruins the picture.

Don't see too many bird of paradise plants in a desert (unless planted and irrigated there)! Is this in the Todos Santos area?Howard - 4-18-2020 at 02:14 PM
There might be some at Jardines. David K - 4-18-2020 at 02:18 PM
I think there are... but I am hoping for more 'desert' photos.
Thanks for playing...Pacifico - 4-18-2020 at 02:55 PM

Class in session. Thank you!
From Wiki P :
While several species from this family are popular in the marine aquarium trade, they are often notoriously ill-tempered
The stone triggerfish (Pseudobalistes naufragium) is the largest species of triggerfish. It is found at reefs and over sandy bottoms in the east
Pacific, ranging from Baja California (Mexico) to Chile.[1] It can reach 1 metre (3.3 ft) in length, but is more common at about half that size.[1]

Nope, 'Baja' is the nickname for a peninsula... It has pine-forest covered mountains from 5,000 to over 10,000 feet, with snow, and coastal shrub and
oak hills, too.
It is indeed mostly desert from San Quintín to La Paz, however! >>>
