Seems like every time I go exploring I find that someone has walked out of one shoe.

3rd up from the last on DK's last post--------I have camped in that exact spot several times over the many years, gazing at the 100's of Blue Palms across the wash and on the surrounding slopes.

Paradise!!!

The thousands of blue palms on the slope of the canyon are pretty amazing... El Berrendo off Valle Chico, north of Matomí.

Jim, a huge photo... Please tell us what is it showing, exactly?

OK, Ed, you get a pass... (isn't a desert!)

Here is a favorite boojum tree (or pair of boojums) of mine:

2012:

2016:

I call them the 'Dancing Boojums', located between Calamajué Canyon and El Crucero.
