I celebrated with a plate of chiliquiles roja, con dos huevos fritos this morning. Sadly, I had to cook it myself!BajaNaranja - 5-5-2020 at 10:21 AM
Let’s try and keep things in perspective. Let’s be smart, help each other out, and we will get through all of this.

Great post, Paco - in tribute to these thoughts, I'll sip some tequila later this afternoon. Salud!

Felice Cinco de Mayo!
Having planed ahead for the end of the world as we know it. (No Pacifico!) We will hoist a Cold One in celebration and gratitude to all!RFClark - 5-5-2020 at 10:43 AM
“ It’s a mess out there now. Hard to discern between what’s a real threat and what is just simple panic and hysteria. For a small amount of
perspective at this moment, imagine you were born in 1900.
On your 14th birthday, World War I starts, and ends on your 18th birthday. 22 million people perish in that war. Later in the year, a Spanish Flu
epidemic hits the planet and runs until your 20th birthday. 50 million people die from it in those two years. Yes, 50 million.“
My Father was born in 1900! That the story of his life. He and the rest of our family survived the war, flu, depression, another war, 4 terms of FDR,
a “Police Action in Korea”, more cutbacks and layoffs in the Aerospace Industry than can be counted and he lived to 90.
I don’t need to imagine! I was there for half of it! The U.S. nuked japan for my 1st birthday!Paco Facullo - 5-5-2020 at 11:25 AM
