There are a lot of nice drives in that area. |
Los Barilles and La Ventana has a growing pickle ball scene which is a lot of fun early in the morning and there are activities north and south, but,
it is among the most expensive place in Mexico next to Cabo and the average age is 60-70, plus a bunch of obnoxious quad and side by side crazies who
cause havoc on the beach and roads, while, La Ventana is full of young athletic people from around the world, biking is popular with excellent trails,
parties nightly versus bar scene(if that's your scene), driving on the beach is frowned on, and the wind tends to be much more consistent with a
thermal on top of el norte, last year it was windy more than 110 Fays in a row. You can check wind archives over the years at http://iwindsurf.com or ikitesurf.com.
LV and LB are only one hour apart, and the coast isn't far either, being mobile in a camper is optimum to visit everywhere with a home base. La Paz
offers some benefits such as inexpensive shopping and more sights and events.
Both are becoming very crowded peak season, depending on outcomes this year will be the most crowded ever... |
