pee-stop on a rough road

the beers were cold and the road was hard,so of course after relieving myself on the road north of gonzaga I had to snap this photo of these wildflowers with one of the enchanted islands in the background....I believe it is called "Muerte" island

I believe you've got Isla San Luis off Punta Bufeo there. El Muerto is three islands NW of there.

I'll have to look for your "mark" when we return on 5/2!

PS: That's not a "rough road". Good shocks turn it into a garden path.

I have fished them some, but not much. I have a capable boat, but I'm not as dedicated to the fishing there as some of our neighbors. When we want fish for dinner, I take my smaller boat out to the point east of us (beach there runs east-west) and grab a few spotted bay bass and that's it. My choice of fishing is fly-fishing streams and rivers. I have caught fish on the fly both on our beach and on the long sand bar that extends off the SE end of Isla San Luis, but I usually save my enthusiasm for the summer trips to MT, ID, OR, Canada and other good trout habitat.

We tend to spend our days in Baja more on terra firma rather than asea.
