Stoves and Fridges in Cabo or LaPaz

Hoping that someone can give me advice re: buying a gas stove and an electric fridge. Most important to me is a good quality stove...I love cooking! I would like an oven with a thermostat...noticing that many do not. I have been advised to buy in San Diego and Import to Todos Santos????? Sounds very expensive to me!
Make and where to buy would be appreciated.

the Mexican ovens do not have insulation and they cook vary uneven. you might go to a restaurant supply in La Paz and check out what they have.

Mexican Appliances

Don't make the mistake of buying one in the US and finding out it was made in Mexico and is less supported than a Mexican model.

Just go to Costo in Cabo and buy one.

Marie-rose

We have lived in La Paz 11 years had 2 mexican stoves that are insulated we know because the rats have pulled the insulation out to make thier nest, they do have oven thermostats but they are in centigrade. We are about to buy a new stove from City Club, Made by Bosch its Stainless as nice as anything we have seen in the states approx 9,000 pesos.
