Hotel Recommendations
One of the students at the English language school I work with in San Diego is going to do the Los Cabos-La Paz-Todos Santos loop with his dad at the
end of May and I would like to get any nomads input on hotels in these places. I have some ideas too but I always like getting other opinions as well.
Their budget will be about $50-100 US a night so I appreciate any ideas. Ideas on other nice places/beach areas to stay for the night on this loop are
also welcome. They have about a week for the trip. Gracias for any recommendations!!:moon:

Bungalows
We absolutely loved the Bungalows in Cabo, it's away from the touristy area, but you can still walk down the hill to the downtown area. Do a search on
Trip Advisors. com. It's often the top ranked hotel in Cabo. Great breakfast's as well.

In La Paz it is either the La Perla or Los Arcos. On the Malecon and just nice places.

In La Paz, El Morro hands down. it is nicer than los arcos and less expensive. it too is on the malecon and the staff is wonderful.

I second the El Moro. A great place that we have been staying at for over 10 years. I have stayed at all the others mentioned and a lot more...El
Moro is best in that price range. Large 2 level suites, kitchen, sat. TV, A/C, balcony, verandas, pool, hot tub, and swim up bar.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Thanks everyone for your ideas and I will go over the various places with my student. He's really looking forward to the trip and I appreciate all of
your help!! 
P.S. Didn't mean to add the smiley with the moon action to my original post...just wanted to put a smiley face on it and then later I see the moon
action...oh well, it's "la luna llena" on the calendar anyway. All those on the Gulf of California side enjoy the beautiful moonrises the next few
days!!

Okay technically El Morro is on the Malecon at the VERY north end. I too like it to the point that I had my wife and kids stay their while they went
to language school last summer for a couple weeks. There staff is delightful....BUT it is no Los Arcos in any way shape or form. Does not have the
services, food, bar, view, as nice of pool...etc as Los Arcos.
When searching for the end of your rainbow you only have until dusk....

Try the Los Barriles Hotel. Clean, pool. On main street close to beach & town.

In CSL the Mar de Cortez is about the best deal/location around. Family owned for years it is walking distance to EVERYTHING (restaurants, bars,
marina, beach, diving watersports etc). Secure off street parking ,rooms priced in the $50 range and one of the best breakfasts in CSL on the
premisis. www.mardecortez.com

I can vouch for the great food at Spencer's within Mar de Cortez. I know Spencer from California and Mulege...he is good as is his son and
daughter-in-law, Steve and Alma. They also have the cafes: Mama Royales and Felix's...all good places to eat and very popular.

Good Tips
I've enjoyed reading your comments and I too had a nice stay at the Mar de Cortez when I went on my loop trip during my time in Mulege. Rooms are a
very good deal and I do remember the breakfast was tasty.
I told my student that I have lots of well-informed Baja nomads consulting on his trip planning so he says "gracias" as well for all the kind help.
Enjoy your weekend. It's hard to believe a week ago I was in Mulege enjoying my last snorkeling adventure and here I am now back at the desk looking
out on SD spring showers!! Oh well, I'm lucky that I work with a fun bunch of students and staff at the school!!
