Agreed Tioloco. We had diverted into why the ant-Gringo "Gentrification" sentiment overall has been changing. I noticed a big change on my last visit to La Paz, which in the past had always been exceptionally welcoming compared to other areas of Mexico we had visited. It's always in the little things...how often your smiling Buenos Dias is ignored and they look the other way, how often the dogs are restrained to NOT attack you as you pass by the house. Maybe it was just coincidence, but we noticed a significant change. Perhaps the painted "Gringos go home" signs i saw had always been there and I had just never noticed before. One of the more recent examples upsetting the locals, translated here to English:
