| can't send U2U

Is there a trick to this I'm not in on? The Reply dot is there but gives me no place to put a message, so I'm not able to reply to U2Us.

 Thanks, anybody---

But, when you send your reply it does not indicate in your 'outbox' that the message has been sent.
But, usually you get a reply, yet have no out message (per your reply) to refer to.

Remember, this is newer software and some things have changed... No longer are your sent messages stored in the outbox (which meant you had to double
delete to clear the messages out). You do have to empty your trash can before the system credits you for deleting messages, so that is a double
task... Just play with it and you will probably figure it out better than my explanation.

David, I understand your answer, I do not understand the logic.
You are saying that if I send a reply (an outbound message) I have no record of it?
Thus, no way to track a message that you might wish to get a response from ( I know, I just ended the sentence with a preposition/ or was it a
proposition?)

There's a new setting in the profile portion of the user control panel that chooses whether to save outbound u2u's in the user's outbox or not. Look
for the checkbox selection.
