El Dorado development- SF
I inquired last year about the status/progress of this project and got fairly vague answers.
Anyone seeing the progress and any comments from down there?
One of my builder partners sat in a presentation last night by the developers and is hot to throw money at the deal.
(I told him he needed to see this big sand box before he tossed major bucks that direction!)
Thanks for any input you all might have.

I stayed there the end of Feb. and the place was going like gang busters. They had about 200 new golf carts in a fenced in area out by the camp
ground. I read in the Gringo gazette that there was some confusion about the use of Stewart Title insurance, it seems the owners of the development
have it but the individual investors do not. The investors felt they were mislead into believing each individual parcel carried title insurance. It
definately seems to be a going concern though.

I live in El Dorado Ranch and have for seven years. Tell him to get a lawyer, in Mexico, before he invests here, or anywhere, and that he invests
only what he can afford to lose. A long time ago there was an article in the BajaSun that said do not build a house on leased property. How true
that is.

Mike, I loved your "thoughts"
Wish that they were printable.... think others might enjoy them as well.
Ah well, I can only hope that my partner gets a good, eyes open tour, and can make a good judgement for himself.
I remember guys dying from heat exhaustion in the Baja 500 in the San Felipe area.... they can talk all they want about the temp. never reaching 100,
but combine that to the humidity along the coast and WOWEEZOWEE!
(see, some expletives are printable)

Thanks to a couple of you who sent U2U on this.
Especially the one (who will stay anonymous) who has lived there a long time and who gave me the website

Very interesting!

Your buddy should purchase on both coasts. One at El Dorado for heat stroke and then one at the fancy place north of El Rosario to 'chill out' at.

There are a few people who have done just that, a place here and a place in San Matais or somewhere on the Pacific Side.
