Blue Sky Cabo – 35' Riviera Blue Water – Captain Oscar – 1 Marlin Released and 2 Dorado

October 8, 2026 – 1 Marlin and 2 Dorado – Cabo Fishing Report

Robert and Sherman, the group presented from Chico, California, enjoyed a successful afternoon charter aboard the 35-foot Riviera Blue Water with Captain Oscar. Staying at Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, the two guests caught one marlin and two dorado approximately four miles offshore in front of Los Arcos.

The marlin was released, completing a productive three-fish outing in waters close to Cabo San Lucas.

Cabo Fishing Charter – Afternoon Action

The October 8 reservation listed an 11:45 AM departure and 6:45 PM return, with a stated fishing duration of six hours and forty-five minutes.

Captain Oscar directed the fishing operation as the guests encountered two popular offshore species.

The marlin provided the primary billfish highlight. After the fight, the fish was released in accordance with Blue Sky Cabo's conservation practices.

Two dorado completed the catch. These colorful game fish are known for their speed, aggressive feeding behavior, and energetic fights.

Individual fish weights and the marlin species were not recorded.

Cabo Sportfishing Catch – Los Arcos

The fishing location was especially noteworthy.

All three game fish were reported approximately four miles offshore in front of Los Arcos, rather than at distant offshore banks.

This location illustrates how productive fishing can occur near Cabo San Lucas when fish are present along the coastline.

Robert and Sherman also requested a Tournament Dredge – Fish Attraction Device, designed to imitate schooling baitfish.

The reservation confirmed the equipment request, although actual deployment was not documented.

Transportation was arranged from Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, with pickup scheduled for 10:55 AM.
