fish report east cape

Not all is grim here in the East Cape, was out Sat and Sun
Sat ran from La Ribera to Vinarama, slow day, i amberjack,
I small dorado, put bait on 3 tailers, no joy, but Sunday,
Had a young couple on the boat who had never caught a salt water fish, managed to get the groom to be a 180 stripey, and his fiance a berry small 75 lb stripey!! As it came about, the fish was about her weight! Now they are sure that you go out every day and order up marlin by weight!!!!
3 other baits on surface fish but I managed to farm two.
I've seen beginner luck but this day was very sweet for a young couple in love!!

Hey, Mike...glad to hear you can still catch some fun fishing on the Cape. It is one of THEE places to fish in the world. Wish I could come join you, but the Far North beckons. I will pull a couple of lake trout or salmon aboard for you. Bueno suerte.

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.
