Bamboo Express

To jrbaja

Amigo, I posted this question already, but somehow it disappeard.

You are by far the most interesting guy on this board.
Behind you are, there are only gringos with no sense for any critizism on this board.
They just allow posts which are in compliance with their narrow minds.
Are you mexican?
Or are you an American with a mexican heart?

I learned about your bamboo project.
Planting Bamboo and helping Mexicans to do something with it.
Like furnitures and such.
Is that correct so far?

Now here is my question.
I am living in La Paz.
Inside Sorianas, in front of the check-outs we do have a "Bamboo Express".
Do you have anything to do with that?
----------------------------------------
I wish you the very best for your project !

What I have to do with that is

Eating there. We usually eat there when we go to La Paz as they have really good asian style food. Better in fact than most chinese restaurants I have been to. Their broccoli beef doesn't taste just like their chicken chowmein for instance!

And correct, I am teaching many people in Baja about the uses and growing bamboo. I spent 3 years taking donations throughout the rural areas of Baja while searching for places with water and no realtors.

Bamboo is now growing in a number of areas down here and I have started a bamboo furniture business in San Bartolo and am teaching thed kids how to work with it. Pretty fun and the work/employment is badly needed here.

Unfortunately, most everyone is gone for the hot season but lot's of orders when they come back in October.:bounce:

And thanks for the encouragement !
First anonymous thread I have ever enjoyed :lol::lol:

Well, there are other posts about anonymous threads.
Question is, and I asked that on a different thread as well,
are nicks like i.e. jrbaja; mexitron; sharksbaja; pompano; bajalera; flyfishingpam; grover; comitan; etc. etc. etc. less anonymous?

You are saying : first anonymous thread you have ever enjoyed.

I can read lots of critizism of yours on other "anon" threads with anon names.
And most of the postings - I guess - you are not going along with.

At least we have one thing in common.
It?s a guess from my side:
Some of the gringos on this board shoud stay where they are and never come to Baja.
Baja does not need them as they are not accepting anything else than the American lifestyle and the Aemrican way of thinking.
But this is Mexico!

I do like any American who is capable of changing his mind.
Accepting some critizism.
Learning a foreign language.
Accepting a diffrenet lifestyle.
Last not least, living in Mexico the Mwexican way.

Are you one of those?

Well, I actually feel that

whether I am "one of those" or not, really doesn't matter. I pretty much speak what I think and if it bothers some, they aren't worth having as friends anyway.
I do bamboo and speak the truth without trying to look "cool"! And so do many of my friends. That's what matters, no matter which color they are.
And yes, less anonymous is a good way to put it. Anonymous posters here have earned a bad reputation because of their ridiclous postings in the past. Now it is every anon posters problem because of the past.
