I think it means that it protects us Nomads from other board owners copying posts here and posting (or permitting others to post) on their board.

Of course this has been repeatedly violated by at least one other board about Baja.

It would be good to clear up... good question Charles!... Doug, what say you??

Referring to the copyright statement, your question is: "Does this include all posts?"

In short, yes.

It is a single notice, covering the collective work, sufficient to satisfy the notice requirement for the separate contributions contained here, even if they have been previously published or their ownership is different.

There is no transfer of ownership for items published here, but Q87 (that would be moi) has been granted permission to use what is posted:

6. Any communication or material you post or transmit to the Service and/or the Sites is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. You assume full responsibility for anything you post or transmit, and you grant Q87 International and its affiliates the right to edit, copy, publish and distribute any information or content you post or transmit for any purpose.

If this is a divisive issue for some reason let me know, as it's not intended to be.

No divisiveness here Doug, just asked out of curiosity. Sort of like reading a cereal box, perhaps a commentary on the quality of some of the recent threads.
