This week we saw glimpses of water temperature changes reflecting the shifts we regularly see for this calendar time. Saturday 25 June, slightly
warmer water drifted south from the Los Frailles area.
Yellowfin Tuna was found in large schools and provided exciting action for visitors. All yellowfin tuna, even football sized ones, are great fun as
these creatures once hooked will sound - meaning they go deep quickly - and thus the angler must "Pull back and Reel down - Pull Back and Reel down"
to land the fish. Several large tuna that would definitely be tournament contenders were successfully wrestled by then exhausted anglers. Remember
the Western Outdoor News Tuna Tournament is in November!
We continue watching and waiting for those great Athletes of the Ocean - The Blue and Black Marlin - to arrive. Ditto for the Pacific Sailfish and
Dorado. Reports from amiga Pam Bolles in Loreto they are seeing Sailfish there. The same for dorado. Locally in Cabo San Lucas we had 5 dorado this
period for our Team - nothing to brag about. When we begin catching dorado we will likely begin seeing the Blue Marlin as dorado is one of their
favorite snacks. For calendar year 2005 only two Blue Marlin have been caught. One 600# caught March 6th by a local angler from San Jose Del Cabo
and the second one weighed 580# caught March 19th aboard our 35' Bertram "CABO MAGIC" by Louis & Janet Yoson and their friends Joe & Chris
Garato of Morristown, New Jersey.
With the longer daylight hours of summer, many guests are enjoying private sunset cruises with us. Our team can accomodate intimate groups in sizes
up to ten passengers.
Some highlights of this period:
We congratulate Jeremy and Mel Martel of Great Britain on their marriage! They chose Cabo San Lucas as the place for their honeymoon at the
magnificent Las Ventanas and fished with us aboard our flagship "CABO MAGIC" for four days with a cumulative total of 3 Striped Marlin released, 2
Wahoo and 25 Yellowfin Tuna. All of us wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
Dan O'Neill put together a group of friends and associates from Landenburg, Pennsylvania for a first time trip. They fished with us aboard 31'
Bertram "HALCON" and our 38' Sportfisher "ADRENALINE" and released two Striped Marlin and boated 2 Yellowfin Tuna.
A group of successful entrepenurial business owners asked to be identified as The Wrightsville Beach Group of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina had a
fantastic day with us releasing one Striped Marllin and boating 15 Yellowfin Tuna.
Melinda and her husband Bob Lawson from outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania enjoyed a day with us and caught their limit on Yellowfin Tuna.
Ken and Laura Fisher from Saxonberg, Pennsylvana also caught their limit of Yellowfin Tuna and had a great day aboard our 26' Sportcraft.
Ed Phillips and MaryAnn Robertson from Salem, Oregon had a wonderful day aboard our 33' "YAYO II" releasing two Striped Marlin. They say this first
visit for a long weekend will definitely not be their last and they intend to return soon to catch some eating fish!
Logan Bailor and his son, also named Logan visiting from Fort Collins, Colorado fished one day aboard our 28' "YAYO I" and another day with the whole
family aboard our 38' "ADRENALINE" with great success releasing one Striped Marlin, and also boating two Wahoo and ten Yellowfin Tuna.
A great day of catching for the Greg Tompkins Group of Manteca, California. Fishing aboard our 35' Bertram the group boated 20 Yellowfin Tuna.
Sarah and Mike Mitchell of Butler, Pennsylvania also fished with us aboard our 26' and caught thier limit of 10 Yellowfin Tuna.
Amigo Mark Guess of San Antonio Texas fished with us two days and caught and released 1 Striped Marlin and boated 4 Yellowfin Tuna aboard 31' "HALCON"
and then caught 4 Roosterfish on our panga "KARINA".
Fishing with his sons aboard our 38' "ADRENALINE", Ken Braud and his boys Will & Colton boated 9 Yellowfin Tuna.
Pam and Brady English fished one day with us and caught their limit of ten Yellowfin Tuna and also released one Striped Marlin. As they are from Las
Vegas Pam told us "We certainly dont catch these fish on Lake Mead!"
Paul and Sandra Matthews will have good stories to share back home in Chandler Arizona about their day aboard our 31' Bertram "HALCON" boating 5
Yellowfin Tuna and 2 Skipjack.
A fun day for Marc Vienna, Nick Smith, Andy Smith of Redondo Beach and Huntington Beach California catching ten Yellofin Tuna aboard our 28' "ANNIKA".
Dave Merrick and Frank Wilbur of Lancaster, California also have fish stories to tell! They caught 7 Yellowfin Tuna aboard our 28' "SUELTA ME".
Aaron and Louise Davis earned their bragging rights by catching their two Yellowfin Tuna.
Duane and Audrey Daupon had fun catching one pargo (red snapper) aboard our panga Bluefin with Capt Ray.
Scott and Karen Braun visting from Watertown, Wisconsin caught 6 Yellowfin Tuna in their day aboard "CABO MAGIC" providing them with lots to tell

Celebrating his 40th birthday with us in Cabo Nelson June of Irvine, California brought a group of friends and family to enjoy a day aboard our 38'
"ADRENALINE" and they caught 11 Yellowfin Tuna. Happy birthday wishes from all of us Nelson!
First time visitors to Cabo from Laredo, Texas the Rolando Cazares Group had a fine day with us aboard our 38' "ADRENALINE" releasing one Striped
Marlin and boating 8 Yellowfin Tuna.
Altho they caught no fish, the Kris Floerke Group of Portland, Texas enjoyed a fine day on the water with us aboard our 36' Riviera Sportfisher and
tell us they "will be back to try it again!"
