Cost of Sat phones???

Anyone know the cost of renting a sat phone for ~10-14 days and what the per minute charge is?
And of course, where to get one in the San Diego area.
Thanks

We rented one last month from SatellitePhoneStore.com They run about $40.00 a week@ $1.80 per minute...They do not work unless you are outside in the open area...Good insurance if you travel deep into the boonies. That is getting harder to do in Baja everyday...

I rented one from Discover Baja about a year ago and was very happy with the equipment and the service. Having few brain cells left I can't quite remember the charges but they were reasonable and you can get the info from their website http://www.discoverbaja.com.
