Does anyone know where/what this is??

This spot has been mystifying several of us over on the googlesightseeing boards for a while now. A huge hole in the coast with the sea visible below. It appears to be a man made area in that the surface looks smoothed out and flattened....you can also make out a few vehicles and what looks like a small structure just to the west of the huge hole. There is a single dirt road leading away from the area.... The general locale is a few miles north of Punta Baja and it looks like the closest town is a place called El Rosario. On one map someone found that it was close to something called "Camp of the women" or something like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated and ground level shots would be VERY appreciated. Thanks...

Why not join your fellow Nomads and come to El Rosario for the festival on July 22-24? We will be touring La Lobera, and maybe eat at that tall restaurant there.

Welcome to Nomad.
