Golf in Mulege

Because of the hot weather, saturday golf will start at 8:30 in the morning.

Thank you very much

We usually like to play the 'Punta Arena' course...

...on Bahia Concepcion as early as possible - as in 'up with the chickens', before the rattlesnakes get active for the day! However, you do get a no-penality drop if your ball lands next to one of those critters!

Punta Chivato golf.

When I went out to visit a friend earlier this year at P. Chivato I was amazed to see three guys nowhere near the coast golfing out in the desert heat. Fasinated I stopped to watch. It turned out to be some nicely burned Austrians whacking away in the sand. I think I even saw a flag, but it may have been a Palo Verde with a rag on it:lol: Needless to say, I was impressed with their marooonic behavior:lol:

It sounds like we need a Loreto, Mulege sand golf tourny. Sand wedge only, the loser on each hole has to drink a beer, the same goes for the hole winner. We could even do it partially by boat and put holes on different islands. Last man or woman standing wins

Back to the subject of golf.....

Where are the best golf courses in Lower Baja? Say from Guerro Negro to La Paz? I don't really like the lower end of Baja that much anymore, as it has become way too crowded for tee times. Would we need to join a club? Are powered golf carts available? Maybe a spa? My wife would love that.

The prevalent addictions we have seen in Baja are with the barflys, not the fairways. HAH!
