It appears that the official translation for geckos is "quizas". However, when I was staying in a house in Puerto Vallarta that was filled with the little buggers, the locals called them "wee-seez". :?:

Tehag - your photos are incredible! They regularly produce a big "Wow!" from me. :yes:

And here's one of Tucker's geckos complete with the little gecko poop mentioned in earlier posts.:o
As I recall they regularly chirped and occasionally made a popping/knocking sounds.
