Why do I keep losing my avatar?

I see my avatar when I repaste the link into my profile. Then, the very next day it's gone again. The link is still there, but the avatar doesn't appear. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
:(

The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.

Bob,

The site you're pulling the avatar from no longer allows "hotlinking" because of bandwidth issues. Says so in the second paragraph of the home page:
http://www.avatarsbymas.com/

I'll grab the image and put it up here for you...

Ya lost mine also. But don't care as it worried me that it presented the wrong 'picture' of me. I kind of like the 'Blanco(sp) Gato in a snow storm' I have now.:D
