Military Checkpoints

I've been going to Algodones/Mexicali from San Felipe about every two weeks recently and the inspections at the Military Checkpoint at Mex 5 and Mex3 have become much more thorough. I drive a Ford F350 dual cab and the last 3 times have ben sent to the "pit" where che look under the vehicle. Open the hood and the check the engine compartment. Cars in the other lanes are undergoing a more intense search than before. Opening more luggage than other less recent trips.

Also they are again stopping and sometimes searching southbound vehicles.

Also just for your reading pleasure, major construction on Mex 2 about half way between Mexicali and SLRC. New overpasses and replacing pavement for several miles.

Not so much my spelling, - it's my typing that needs help

Hey Lou

The revisions coming north have pits for looking under the vehicle. For a little humor, I put out some quarts of oil and a filter and suggested that while they are under there........
