128 Team Captains Report these summary numbers for the period.

4 Blue Marlin
36 Striped Marlin
35 Pacific Sailfish
15 Yellowfin Tuna
96 Dorado
6 boats had no luck

We are delighted to report on many fantastic catches this period. The week started out a bit disappointing with 6 boats skunked, and then things really turned around ~ Everyone on the water had action! Water temperature at the arch nearing 90 degrees on Saturday.

Some highlights for this period:

First time visitor and new amgio Leon Black and his son Joshua spent 5 hours with us aboard a panga, and caught 1 Yellowfin Tuna. Leon says "I got to spend the time with my ten year old son. It was the first time we got to bond uninterrupted and without distraction. It was fantastic."

Group Amigos The Rushnell Party of Rainier, Washington had no suerte aboard but telll us they enjoyed the day nonetheless. No phones, no faxes and no federal express!

Visiting from Manhattan Beach, California the Hsing Family caught 2 small dorado in their day aboard QUEEN VICTORIA. They wanted yellowfin tuna but they just are not found. The Yellowfin Tuna have been on vacation in Puerta Vallarta!

Amigo Max Hawkins back to fish with us on a panga for five hours. Max caught bunches of black skippies. Not good eating for humans, but fun to catch and good eats for those larger ones up the food chain.

Amigos and brothers, Brady and Wes McNeil from Los Angeles caught one Pacific Sailfish. Brady says being on the water was an awesome way to celebrate his 24th birthday. His entire family is here but only brother Wes wanted to go fishing. They enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration dinner at Margaritaville on the marina, and partied on at the Giggling Marlin before returning to their place at Estancia.

The Amigos Wade Gomes Group of Brentwood California fished with us aboard our 35' Bertram Sportfisher "CABO MAGIC " and 38' Pearson "ADRENALINE" post these three day totals: 1 Blue Marlin released, 1 Pacific Sailfish released, and 7 Dorado. Did you have your fish prepared at least once at SPENCERS inside of the MAR DE CORTEZ Hotel?

Amigos Matt Lewis, Bill Henner and Ron Rueller visiting from Las Vegas, Nevada caught 2 Dorado in the 30# class while fishing with us aboard our 32' Luhrs "QUEEN VICTORIA". Matt says they had their fish prepared one night at La Casa Del Dorado and it was "out of this world!" They only spent two nights here and admit they were skeptical not knowing what Cabo was like. They will plan a longer visit for next time!

New amigos the Mr and Mrs Jim Callaway of Carefree, Arizona caught 1 Dorado in the 40# class. Nice size fish! They tell us they had some fish prepared that evening at ALEXANDERS, a wonderful restaurant on the marina. Chef Alex is a culinary genius!

Fishing with us on Tuesday aboard QUEEN VICTORIA Tony and Ed McClaine of Portland, Oregon caught 2 Yellowfin Tuna. Not big but even small yellowfin provide a great fight!

Norm Steinberg of Rochester, New York left his girlfriend Ivy asleep in their suite at Hacienda Del Mar to fish with us aboard our 26' IVONNE and released a Pacific Sailfish. Norm says when he got back to the hotel, Ivy had enjoyed what she described as a really great breakfast and massage!

Amigo Ron Payne fished with us and caught one 60# Yellowfin Tuna. Congratulations Ron!

Jon and Stephanie Woods of Memphis, Tennessee fished with us aboard CAOB MAGIC Dos and released 2 Striped Marlin - Thats what we like to report! Way to go Jon & Stephanie! We hope to receive photos for the website and office.

AMigos Nuevo James & Jacie Stivers and Don & Heide Sibert of Melbourne, Florida released1 Pacific Sailfish. Not something they can do off the coast of Florida so mission accomplished!

Visiting from Encinitas, California, Amigo Danny Garcia boated 2 nice Dorado fishing with us abaord YAYO. One bag of fish he took to Restaurant Zapato and says it was a great meal! The other fish he donated to the crew so they too could enjoy fresh fish dinner. A real nice gesture Danny!

Back again from San Antonio, Dr Bill White released 1 Striped Marlin fishing with us aboard IVONNE. Dr White enjoys the time on the water and says its a welcome break from dentistry.

Also fishing with us aboard our 26' IVONNE, visitors from Addison, Texas new amigos Thomas Hubbell & Laura Unclebach released 1 Striped Marlin, released 1 Pacific Sailfish and boated 1 Dorado ~ ~ What a great day!
