We've had a few like that. I think they're called rainbow pepper plants.
I think they're Jalapenos but I'll ask my wife after her beauty sleep and let you know. We've ordered them through our seed catalogue.

I've seen these listed as Christmas peppers. They are not the Chili variety and the ones I've tried are not very good to eat.

Looks similar to my Bolivian Rainbow pepper, but mine has more purple leaves....they are muy picante and are mainly grown for looking at rather then eating.

They're ornamental, not much good for eating.
