blowin in bola

Today the north wind started blowin early after a week of flat calm conditions. The yellows are really small and even a few small dodo's way outside by raza and partida. Large sierra in the 5lb to6lb range along with bonita make for good eating fish. The last two days I was down around punta alacran and farther south the water was 83 and clearer than in the bay. Nothing worth pulling the trigger at, the grouper and bass type's were small and even the triggers. On just about every rocky point there is a gill net wrapping the whole point. I have even seen up to three on the large points. Hanging in the hammock watchin the wind blow and waiting for the padre game tonite. They say they caught nothin when there's fish in the pan, wahoo willie and sheephead sam. Peace out----fishin rich

High pressure is building up here in San Diego...... seems like that usually pushes the wind down the cortez.
