Santa Catarina Landing
Before roads were built from to El Marmol suitable for cargo trucks (about 1940's?), onyx blocks were shipped out from this point on Baja's Pacific
coast to San Diego's Southwest Onyx and Marble Company.

Making flour from the wheat grown in the area by the English colonists... A railroad was also begun from the mill northward some 20 miles before the
whole project crashed... NO RAIN to grow wheat...
