LOS CABOS, Mexico, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- In a time when the cancellation or consolidation of airline routes has become routine, airlift to Los Cabos (SJD) has increased dramatically with non-stop service now offered by nearly all carriers and increased service available from many gateway cities.

American Airlines has also filed an application to provide non-stop service to Los Cabos from New York [JFK]. American Airlines plans to offer twice-weekly non-stop service in peak season and once-weekly service throughout the remainder of the year from New York.

Delta Airlines reinstates daily non-stop service from Atlanta, effective December 2005. Delta Airlines also introduces twice-weekly non-stop service from Cincinnati, December 1, 2005 and has filed to offer non-stop service from New York (JFK) on Saturdays, effective March 4, 2006.

United Airlines increases its 4x-weekly non-stop service from San Francisco to daily service, effective December 15, 2005. United additionally launches once-weekly non-stop service on TED from Chicago on October 15, 2005, and increases that service to 4x-weekly, effective December 15, 2005.

Frontier Airlines increases its Saturday-only non-stop service to 3x-weekly, effective October 9, 2005, and then again increases service to daily non-stop flights, effective November 19, 2005 to April 15, 2006 with extra flights offered on holidays and during spring break.

Continental Airlines will increase its once-weekly non-stop service from Newark to daily, effective December 15, 2005 to January 3, 2006. The service then drops back to 3x weekly for the period of January 4, 2006 to February 16, 2006.
