Skeet's not married to a Mexican native. I've met his wife. She's a very nice lady, met her at the 1st book party at Pyramid.

look, i wasn't implying that riches wealth and or money are the ONLY keys to success and happiness, only that if one wants to get in on what will always be slow but lucrative ROIs in baja then now is as good a time as ever, and some properties are getting hot now, no pun intended.

i do not consider myself rich by most standards, i work long hard hours at risky and capital intensive endeavors to support my lifestyle and will for 10 more years because i LOVE what i do. if i hit big on something, great - and if it helps me make more $$$$$, ok too.

Some of you out there are against development, fine - go buy some dirt and preserve it. until then, let the mexicans decide what they want. let them prosper, its their fricking country.

think i'll go grab a napkin and design my new palapa deck.........it will cost me about $1500 to build on LEASED land, i'll never recoup it, and in doing it i'll help some guys with NOTHING buy clothes and food for their families for several months!!

tankless hot water heater

for our house in ensenada. best investment. other than buying the ensenada house for us to live in and enjoy the rest of our life (lives) together...

but as others have noted, it is the change in lifestyle and reduction in stress and hassles that living in ensenada entails that will have the greatest return on investment.
