I need advice on preserving this.
I found this on a beach and it took me a while to realize that this Moray is in a death writhe while there is still the jawbone of another Moray
attached to it's throat. The teeth of the attacker are stuck in the skin of the larger eel and I'm afraid after complete decomposition, it will fall
off. I'd kinda like to keep it like this if possible so any advice ? Thanks J.R.
By the way, J.R.Baja, Ski Baja is now Baja Again. Hopefully temporarily.

Sorry Doug
Please remove the unshrunk one. I am going through a bunch of pictures and obviously quite confused as to which ones are shrunk or not. I will go
through today and shrink them all prior to anymore picture posting. PS, I couldn't find your email address so if you could pm me about my technical
difficulties please.
PS, also interested in setting up a website.

If it were me, I think I?d do away with all the fancy stuff, and just get some heavy fishing line and tie it to my front bumper or grill.
The ironic thing is, if a person was to spend money trying to preserve it, it would probably rot away in short order. However, if someone were to
throw that thing high in the tree of my front yard, the thing would last forever.

Preserve
Thought I posted on this, must not have signed in??
Anyway, we used to keep our rigged eels and eel skins for years in a brine solution using kosher salt.

OY VEH!!
Yeah, kosher salt! It's a heavier grain and makes a powerful brine...
Always worried about my ancestors spinning in their graves over me using "kosher"...Is that politically incorrect? Anyway they'll just have to keep
on spinning....
