Internet in Mulege?

Unfortunately, I have to check e-mail this year:fire: Last year there was internet access in Mulege, at the Pelican Bar....(Don?t know if I got the name right) is it still there?
Also this year I have a laptop that automatically picks up the net, will I be able to use it there and download my e-mail on it? (I will gladly pay for the connection) That way I can down load my e-mail, head back to the beach and come back to town to send it in a few days. Anyone have experience? Will it work?

Actually there is a couple more too....

There are "Hot Spots" where you can get your email on the internet from your laptop.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply Bob & Susan.... I was hoping that would work, although the thought of working on vacation is a little depressing but at least then we will be able to stay longer!
I was thinking of a sat phone but they are pretty expensive & I don?t think that I want to be that accessible on vacation.

By the way I have followed the progress on your property web site & also have seen your property from our boat in January.... (Easy to spot because of the white picket fence) Your garage looks great on the web. I will continue to follow your progress, that is great. We will be staying around playa Los Cocos....Any hot spots closer to there? heading down for Christmas & staying until the end of January.... This will be our 6th trip in 8 years.

Now there is "Hot Spots" on just about every beach...

The RV'ers have portable SAT systems...the only problem is they have to have their computer on to access the web and without regular electricty most don't leave their unit on all the time.

You really don't need a Sat Phone...too much money...just use email or instant messaging like we do.
The other side just needs to know when you'll be on.

Everything at home can just wait....vacation:yes:
Have a GREAT one!!!
