Beach club:
I've seen the model of the beach club at their dowtown office. Big, fancy building. I believe it will include work out rooms, saunas, a restaurant,
all that jazz. That's what the fee would be for.
But the beach...there is currently signed public access, after compaints about marked lots stretched over the access. They are supposed to leave that
access, although the fenced parking area may not survive. So the beach is supposed to remain open for everyone, not just Loreto Bay residents and
guests. But parking? May not be parking in the area?
All that may be better than north of town, where efforts have been made to restrict access to the beach by moving a road inland, and fencing off and
berming old roads. A planned marina entrance would cut access from the south, and wall to wall lots will stop access from the north for several miles.
Kind of like Malibu. Maybe someone will build a beach club there, that does include access!

Hey Vandenberg. You've been quiet on this question. Since you live across the street from this project, and walk the beach most every day. Do you see
any restrictions, fencing, walls, etc to block the beach from the localsl?

All I can tell you that, when they outlined the parcels, the ones next to the Loreto Bay Inn, are only 10 to 12 ft away from their wall. Also the
beach will have homes on the beach 30 ft or so towards the sea. There definitely won't be any parking near the beach, unless Loreto Bay builts a
public lot. Highly unlikely. Right now there is still access to the beach and parking on the beach, since the project hasn't gotten that far yet. But
in the future, you would have to park on the street and lug your stuff to the beach. Lots of fun during our summers.

As it should be.
Legal beach access was never meant to include vehicles. Since few obey beach restrictions, the best way to enforce them is to physically restrict the
ability for vehicles to access the beach.
